The Sir James Reckitt Charity is a grant-making charity which supports a wide range of charitable causes.

The Charity was founded in 1921 by Sir James Reckitt who endowed the trust with a large number of shares in the family manufacturing business of Reckitt and Sons Ltd.

The trustees give support to a wide range of charitable causes, but give some priority to purposes connected with the Society of Friends (Quakers) and to purposes connected with the city of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
