When making application for grant support:
Please understand that the trustees have to operate to strict guidelines
and within the funds available at the time.
The trustees meet twice a year to consider appeals, normally
in May and October. For appeals to be considered at the
next meeting, they should be submitted by mid-April or
mid-September at the latest.
If your appeal is successful, you should receive your grant
through the post within a few weeks of the trustees' meeting.
We require acknowledgement of receipt from all successful
applicants and confirmation that the grant will be used for the purpose
specified.
If you receive a grant it is unlikely that you will be eligible for further support within a period of two years from receipt of the grant.
In order to keep administrative costs to a minimum, unsuccessful candidates
may not be advised. Consequently, if you do not hear from us you must assume that it has not been possible to allocate funds to your cause on this occasion.
The Trust accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage or injuries which
arise directly or indirectly from activities undertaken by you as a result of a grant given by the Trust. All recipients of grants are strongly advised to ensure that they have appropriate insurance cover for activities covered by the grant.
